It’s The Avengers! No, not that one, the other one. I took the extra hour to colour this up in the GIMP, adding some text and messing around with the colours. It’s got a few rough edges, but overall I’m happy with the look.

First 50 Doodles – Samir
While it never feels like enough, this site has served its purpose well since we began it, and that was in getting me to draw a lot. I’ve not gotten back into the habit in recent months, but it’s good to remind myself that I did complete a large chunk of sketches here, more than I’ve done in years.

My First 50 Topics — Vishal
I finally finished drawings for the first 50 topics on Today’s Doodle! These weren’t drawn in order, with me skipping here and there and everywhere. I’m happy with a great many of them, disappointed with several, and indifferent to some. Overall, however, in the six months since we started the site, I have managed to do more drawings than I ever have in a similar period of my life before. I’ve improved my skills immensely, though I have miles to go before I can realise my ideas to match my imagined version. But here they are, all together, proving, if nothing else, that a little perseverance and some strange topics can result in a lot of fun drawings.
